Happy Halloween. Black Panther and I'm (last year's) Iron Man. The Captain America? A person meeting the trick-or-treaters at their home. Zupe was in AWE of the fabulous costume. Or, was it?? We ended up just circling the block and coming back to once again fist bump and hug Cap.

Kevin and I debated until about 10 PM the night before about going to LegoLand. We had had a pretty negative experience at Disney the summer before - hot, crowded, and an unimpressed child. Obviously, we took a chance - and it was a great decision! Virtually no crowd (on a weekday in October!), beautifully comfortable, and a very, very engaged child. Here Zupe is greeting Emmet - followed soon, thereafter, by dancing with and hugging Emmet. Lloyd was also there! And, Zupe had his first taste of a roller coaster and he loved it.

Zupe in the rainbow bed. It took 3 days before Zupe was happy to stay in it for 15 minutes. This is day three. Fifteen minutes, but not alone. Bear essential.

Zupe, Kevin, and I spent a week in Florida in October. I had enrolled Zupe in a therapy program last summer but had to cancel after my mother was injured. It worked out that we could participate in October. And, while I didn't see any shifts after the program, I must say that Florida in October had to be a much better option than Florida in July! We flew into Orlando and enjoyed a stay in a resort with a great pool for a night before driving the next day to the West coast to Crystal River. No drive across Florida is complete without a stop at a gas station advertising free orange juice and baby alligators.

Haunted House in Sidney, Ohio. Pretty lousy photo - but creepy because of it. Zupe loved the experience and we went through the house 4 or 5 times.
